Northstar Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Proper Fit application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We don't sell your data. Your photos are used only to provide the Service to you.

Collected Automatically
We also collect basic device information (device type, OS), usage data (features used, screens visited), and log data (IP address, timestamps, error reports) to operate and improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, including generating color analysis and outfit recommendations; process payments and manage your subscription; authenticate your account and prevent fraud; respond to support requests and communicate important updates; and analyze usage patterns to improve app performance.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your data only with service providers who help us operate the Service:

4. Photo & Image Data
Photos you upload are used solely to provide the color analysis and wardrobe management features you request. Photos are deleted immediately after analysis is complete and are never stored by us. We do not share your photos with third parties beyond the service providers listed above, and only for the purpose of delivering the Service.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.
6. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict how we process it; and receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@getproperfit.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time via the Account page of our website. Deletion is permanent and will remove all your data from our systems within 30 days.
Email Communications
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We will still send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts) as these are necessary for the Service.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure storage, and access controls to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. International Users
Proper Fit is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
10. GDPR (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the EU or EEA, our legal basis for processing your data is performance of a contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (improving the Service, fraud prevention), consent (for marketing communications), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion of their personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising their rights. 12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
